Paul Adkins Takes Facial Enhancement Acupuncture to India |
At the beginning of December, I flew out to New Delhi to run a workshop and address the 15th National Acupuncture Association of India Conference. I was the only practitioner from the UK to be invited by the Chairman Dr. Raman Kapur to host a workshop at this year's event, joining three other acupuncture specialists from around the world. Gu Zhaojun from China presented on the management of stroke patients, Pascal Vidal lectured on French Auriculopuncture and Sadhna Singh travelled from Houston, U.S.A to run a Fertility Acupuncture workshop. I was specifically invited to lecture and demonstrate Facial Enhancement Acupuncture, which I developed in 2004. I was met at the airport by Dr. Usha Sapra, who kindly suggested her driver Ashok show me some of the sights in New Delhi to enable me to make the most of my short stay. This was my first time in India and nothing quite prepares you for the vibrant sights and sounds, Cornwall is pretty chilled out in comparison! I received the most wonderful welcome and it was a pleasure to present my Facial Enhancement Acupuncture workshop to such an appreciative audience. Teaching is something that I really enjoy and I felt very privileged to be invited to impart my treatment over 7000 kilometres away from Cornwall in New Delhi. As a Classical Five-Element Acupuncturist, the following day I addressed the conference on the Chinese 5 Elements and their relationship to Facial Enhancement Acupuncture. The interest was amazing and the enquiries haven't stopped since my return.
